Evening, 1/2

Got more information at the 4 pm visit. The head surgeon in the trauma unit met with me and Clem's Mom. Here it is in short form 1) Clot in lung small 2) Clot in leg large 3) Continued use of anti-coagulant 4) Screen put in tomorrow. We're still waiting on radiology to report on the elbow XRay.
Clem was breathing easier and he signed the release for radiology to put the screen in. I got to brush his hair; he really liked that. And his Mom fed him some vanilla ice cream. He REALLY liked that! He told us that he slept for about an hour and half. That is big--when you are on pain meds and sedatives, you are not really sleeping. That means that Clem did not have a real sleep for 12 days. I can't imagine.
Thanks to BB for the encouragement and the scriptures. Much appreciation to our cuzs in Delhi--love you, too. Ya'll, I really would like to write back to you all and to people that Clem knows at work, so if anyone would like to visit by email, send your email address with your comments.
My thoughts are with my brothers and sisters in Christ at Dayspring tonight. I read NP's email and I know that you will be praying for us as well as our church. What a wonderful community of faith to be a part of! God is so good. He has blessed us with so many wonderful people to surround us with prayer and to care for our needs. Keep us in your prayers and also all the seriously injured people and their families on the third floor. Love to you all, DV

We, too, are praying diligently for God to do his work with Clem! Your family's faith is so strong, and we all know what a comfort that is...to be able to just let God perform his miracles in his own time. Take care of yourself, Debora! Please call or email us if there is anything you need done at your home. Sometimes it is hard to understand how a family can just pick up and relocate to a facility for a lengthy time. We will continue to pray for Clem, as well as you, Madelyn, and the Viola family. We love you!

Hey Debora! We did have a great prayer meeting last night centered around you, clem, and madi. I know that God will give you the stamina you need, but don't forget to take time out when you need it. I admire your optimism, strength and determination, but am concerned about your health as well as Clem.
Love ya!

dearest debora, clem, leroy, nora and all the fly. I am so very happy to hear of clem making great progress. Can't wait to get the wonderful hug he always give me. I'v always had a soft place in my heart for him. He is one of a kind.
Nora & Leroy keep me up on his progress.I sleep very little at night and when I wake up, I pray for Clem, my son Butch who is in terrible condition from cancer and also my brother Warren who is also very sick. Clem is always on my mind. I miss his loving hugs. I enjoyed the hours we spent together picking up pecans. He is one of the sweetest peple I know. Kiss him for me. I will be over to see him when things get better here. Didn't know how to blog till just now. Love to all and to all his friends praying for him. Grand-son Damian showed me how to blog.
Love to all and to all a goodnight.
