Please to continue to pray for us, especially for Clem's rapid recovery. Also, I'm waiting to hear back from the life insurance company regarding compensation for his amputated leg. Please pray for a good settlement regarding the claim. Whatever the outcome, we're sure God will take good care of us, but it would be nice to know what has been decided. Love to you all and may God bless you all abundantly. DV

Thur. 2/28
Only one more day left in February; can you believe it? We've come a long way since December 19. Clem gets stronger everyday. Only two days of outpatient therapy and he can move his wrist a bit more sideways and up about 45 degrees. They are also working hard on strengthening his right leg and improving his balance in preparation for the prosthetic leg. So if you see Clem in his wheelchair and is pushing with only his foot, that is part of his exercise routine; his right arm is just fine!

Dear Clem & Debora: Boy, am I behind on things. Am on about 2 or 3 committees too many - however, you two are never far from my thoughts and prayers. Have been involved in working on the gazebo at Kiroli in Krista's memory - arrangeing for flower bed, etc. And somehow got involved in a committee for the ARCO fund raiser talent show (of which I have none - talent that is) and the usual "so on" stuff - which includes still "showing my house" (for sale) and trying to get that to the "completed" stage - which is not easy considering today's market. But, as with all things, this too will pass. Just want you to know that we (your friends and soul supporters) are all encouraged by your words/by your progress - keeping you in our prayers and on our minds. I'll be out shortly for a visit - want to "see your faces" and enjoy "hearing your voices", how and what your days are like - you all are such great "encouragers" yourselves - what a great witness you two are to the love and mercy and generosity of our God, He who never leaves us, who parts the clouds with some miracle of beauty each day (be it in and through nature or in and through man who He has created in His image). We cab each be thankful for such an awesome God, for His sustaining love made known to us in the "little things which make up our daily lives". Big things (like the parting of the seas, the resurrection of His Son, the sending of His Spirit) are truly awesome things to contemplate; but it's in the small daily miracles that He makes Himself known to each one of us here where He has cast our lots. And His people say, "Amen" - see you soon. Beverly
